My Name: Melissa Adam
My Current Job/Company: Business Systems Analysis Manager, OCLC
My Work: I created and lead the BSA function at OCLC, which started as 4 BSA’s and has grown to a team of 26. We help product software development teams identify, document, and manage requirements.
My Passion: My family, being accomplished and happy, and helping others do the same.
My Family: Peter, my husband, Thomas 18-year-old son playing junior hockey in TX, brother TJ ED OCLC, sister-in-law Chrissy Social Media Strategist, niece Gwendolyn student OWU, nephew Truman student ONU, and happily retired educator parents Ken and Jayne.
My Hero or Heroes: Peter for always supporting me.
My Escape: Our sunroom.
My Pet Peeve: Complacent and unmotivated people.
My Indulgence: Boutique shopping.
My Roots: Importance of family, lifelong friends.
My Future: I love enjoying and living in the moment. I try not to think too far in the future as anything can change.

My Advice to Young Women: Don’t be afraid to take calculated risks.
How I Balance it All: Lists and getting plenty of sleep to be energized every day.
