My Name: Claudia Herrington
My Current Job/Company: Senior Director of Compliance – JobsOhio; Adjunct Faculty – Otterbein University and Board Member – STRS OH & Five to Flow
My Work: While all of my roles require various skills, the one thing they have in common is service to others and being part of something bigger than myself.
My Passion: My family, service to others and being a lifelong learner
My Family: Robby (Husband – Elementary School Teacher), Robby IV (Son – 20) & Skyler (Son – 17)
My Hero or Heroes: Those on the front line of COVID-19 and those who work tirelessly to change gender and racial inequality and injustice.
My Escape: Any vacation with my husband and sons that allows us to hike, cycle, swim and learn.
Pet Peeve: Laziness
My Indulgence: Chocolate – My husband will say something is “too chocolaty” … Really? Is that even possible?
My Roots: One traffic light, small Ohio town with my parents, sisters and extended family.
My Future: Endless possibilities and what I make of them.

My Accessory: Garmin to count my steps.
My Advice to Young Women: Early in your professional career, cultivate strong and trusting relationships with 8 – 10 women who will not sugar coat it, who will show up for you during the highs and lows and who will allow you to reciprocate. Priceless.
How I Balance it All: I have to be militantly organized. Even then, I do not do it alone! My amazing family and friends have been, are, and will continue to be an unwavering source of assistance and motivation.
