My Work: Finding special seeds of inspiration to spark creativity, fostering the development of emotive designs and empowering designers to achieve their highest potential.

My Passion: Mentoring people, creating experiences, living empathically.

My Family: Ben (husband), Bella (15 year-old daughter) and our four cats – Daisy, Baby Cat, Chicory and Josie.

My Hero or Heroes: My heroes are humble – my brother, Gary, for his philosophies and guidance; my sister, Susi, for her heart and love of animals; my parents, Ruth and Joe, for loving and supporting me unconditionally.

My Escape: Any kind of travel experience, especially a beach destination. At times, my couch or bed feels just right.

My Pet Peeve: Negative attitudes and rudeness.

My Indulgence: Salty snacks and wine.

My Roots: Unique. I have a mixed-up ethnic background (Korean and German roots) and was adopted by my grandparents so I grew up among an older generation in Columbus, Ohio. These experiences have given me many gifts.

My Future: Experiential, optimistic and focusing more on being in the moment.

My Accessory: I keep it simple – a bag that fits my mood, select jewelry and a cat by my side.

My Advice to Young Women: Don’t look back, look forward especially regarding the choices and decisions you make. Looking back and questioning yourself erodes confidence and steals your precious energy that could otherwise be used toward being inspired and creative.

How I Balance it All: I Listen to my inner voice. The definition of balance changes and evolves so I listen to my mind and body, whether that means to lean in or sit back. Taking time to plan, organize and prioritize help keep things humming along.

My Work: I run the Travel & Events division for One10. I support my leaders and their teams in the overall design, planning and delivery of all of our travel programs that we operate for our fantastic clients.

My Passion: My family, my kitties!

My Family: Jerry (Fantastically Supportive Husband), Samantha (Extraordinary Step Daughter- 22), Riley (Fantastic Step Son – 21) – Murphy & Jax – our two amazing boy cats – they fill every day with happiness!

My Hero or Heroes: My mom. Marilyn – she passed away a few years ago but she brought all of her children up to believe that we could do anything and especially pushed her two daughters to not let our being women confine our aspirations – she was Amazing!

My Escape: The quiet of gardening or a really good book.

My Pet Peeve: People who judge or won’t accept other people that aren’t like them or don’t believe like they do. Wouldn’t it be great if we all just let everyone live however they want to as long as it’s not hurting someone else?

My Indulgence: A great homemade cookie or bar – but it HAS to be worth the calories!

My Roots: Farm Girl and proud of it! I was brought up to be independent and have a strong work ethic – if you want something – set your goal and then be prepared to work hard for it as it won’t just be given to you which makes achieving the goal that much sweeter!

My Future: Incredibly busy, fast paced and ever changing.

My Advice to Young Women: : Everything is possible and don’t be afraid to fail – it will only make you smarter and stronger.

How I Balance it All: Amazing understanding and love from my husband – when things get too crazy he brings me back to the basics and helps me reset. I also make sure that I take time each week to have some silent alone time to get re-centered.
